ST. GILBERT VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
NEEDS VOLUNTEERS and DONATIONS!
St. Gilbert Vacation Bible School is run entirely by volunteers. To make this program successful, we need YOU! To be a VBS volunteer, you must be entering 7th Grade or older. In accordance with Archdiocesan guidelines, volunteers over the age of 18 require a background check. Additionally, certain VBS positions require Virtus training. Virtus dates will be announced (watch bulletin).
On the volunteer form, note your availability and area of interest. We are especially happy to have volunteers that can be with us for all 5 days of VBS (you will get a t-shirt!). A coordinator will call to arrange your VBS schedule and give you more details. All volunteers should plan to attend the important Sunday, May 17, 7pm Volunteer Meeting. If you do NOT receive a call to confirm your volunteer assignment before this meeting, please call Nancy Ogrinc or Cindy Kolanko.
Childcare for Volunteers - For our adult volunteers, we have childcare available for younger children at those times that you are volunteering. Please note your need on the form.
Donations - Some like to donate toward our snack, paper products and crafts supplies usage. Please note this on the form.
Prayer group – We have an active drop-in prayer group. The group will pray for our VBS children and volunteers. It will be held each morning during the first half hour of VBS. If you are interested, please note this on the form.

Return form with check made to St. Gilbert. Dropoff in VBS box in the back ofChurch, the REP office, or the St. Gilbertschool office. Campers receive a VBS T-shirt. Refunds cannot be processed once the shirts have been ordered. A confirmation letter will be sent to your home by June 7th. That letter is your ONLY confirmation of enrollment! If you do NOT receive the parent letter, please call Michelle Kozak (847) 644-2582 AFTER June 8th.
